What's up with gmail these past few days?

It's been very flaky. Server outages several times over the past days...including this morning. I wouldn't tolerate so many outages on a paid service but they're bad enough on a free one.

I don't believe in "Mercury Retrograde" but sometimes I wonder.

Waking at Midnight...and eBay auctions.

Is not cool. Particularly when I only went to bed three hours ago.

So... before I go back and try for more sleep, I'll post some info about my latest eBay auctions.

I have several items up on eBay right now that are pretty interesting: Vintage Italian Milling-Boring machine spec sheets (from the 50's), a Starrett Webber folder full of gage block spec sheets, a book about Auction Bridge from 1928, by the then-editor of the Chicago newspaper bridge column, and a few other assorted spec sheets... Jones & Lamson comes to mind.
